1. GENERAL
1.1 By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (‘Conditions’).
1.2 If you do not accept these Conditions, you must not participate in the Competition and will not be eligible for the Prize.
2. SCHEDULE TO CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Entry Requirements Entrants must be all of the below;
(a) Australian resident;
(b) aged Eighteen (18) years and older;
(c) a current member of TLU (‘Member’); and
(d) available to travel to and remain at the Gold Coast, Queensland from Friday 26 June 2021 to Sunday 28th June 2021.
Ineligible Entrants Any Member’s of TLU that are in a trial membership period during the Competition Period (as noted in the paragraph below).
Competition Period The Competition opens at 12:00am on Thursday, 27 May 2021 and closes on 12:00pm Wednesday, 9 June 2021.

Entry Method Entrants must complete the Entry Details (as listed in the paragraph below) and submit the Entry Form which can be accessed here http://www.thelegupaustralia.com/competitiongc during the Competition Period.

Maximum Number of Entries An entrant can enter a maximum of one (1) times during the Competition Period
Judging Criteria The Competition is based on skill. Each entry will be judged individually on its merit based on its entertainment, creativity and originality level.
Judges Entries will be judged by a panel of judges (Sam Wood and Blake Johnston) from TLU.
Prize There are to be five (5) winners who will each win:
(a) A travel voucher in the amount of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) to use on a flight to the Gold Coast for the event;
(b) Two (2) nights accommodation on the Gold Coast at a value of $500.
(c) Ticket to the Men’s Matter Race Day on 26 June 2021 at Gold Coast Turf Club, Racecourse Drive, Bundall Qld 4217 valued at $180.
(d) A seat at a private table hosted by TLU and package provided.
Prize Conditions The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
TLU takes no responsibility for any change in the Prize value.
If a Prize is unavailable, TLU will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.
Notification Method The winners will be announced on TLU podcast and published on TLU Facebook groups on 10 June 2021.
Prize Claim Winners must accept their prize via email by 5:30pm on 11 June 2021 (‘Prize Claim Date’).
If the Prize is not claimed by this date, the Prize will be awarded to the next best entry who is to be determined by the Judges in accordance with Entry Details and Judging Criteria and is to be notified within a reasonable time.
Prize Delivery The Prize will be provided (where applicable) by way of email.
3. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
3.1 You can access these Conditions at any time at http://www.thelegupaustralia.com/gctermsandcond
3.2 Entry is open to people who meet the Entry Requirements other than Ineligible Applicants. Entries submitted by Ineligible Applicants are not accepted.
3.3 The Competition will be run during the Competition Period.
3.4 To enter, entrants must comply with the Entry Method and submit their entries during the Competition Period.
3.5 All valid entries will be entered into the Competition. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. TLU has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for problems or delays associated with them.
3.6 Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt into TLU’s database, not at the time of transmission. Entries submitted using any form of automated entry device or software are ineligible.
3.7 Entries that do not fully comply with these Conditions of Entry will be deemed invalid.
3.8 TLU accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, tampering, theft, destruction failure or otherwise.
3.9 The best valid entry as determined by the Judges according to the Judging Criteria will win the Prize described in the Schedule.
3.10 This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged by the Judges on the basis of the Judging Criteria. The Judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.11 All entries will become TLU’s property. Each entry must be the entrant’s original work and entrants agree that TLU may make copies of or publish their entry in any form or media (including but not limited to the TLU podcast and/ or TLU Facebook group).
3.12 In consideration for awarding a Prize to a winner, winners agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the Prize and consent to their name and image being used in promotional material without payment
3.13 Where a Prize consists of travel, travel may be restricted to period other than peak periods and must be booked and completed in accordance with any terms prescribed by TLU and/ or the travel arranger. If the Prize is event based, travel must coincide with the event dates.
3.14 Flights and accommodation are subject to availability and TLU accepts no responsibility and will not be liable due to delays or cancellations caused by travel restrictions (for example, as a consequence of government mandated border closures). Winners and any travel companions are responsible for all other costs associated with the Prize (and not included in the Prize) including but not limited to meals, taxes, travel insurance and any other ancillary costs. If the Prize involves overseas travel, winners and any travel companions are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary documents such as valid passports and visas, should consult their medical practitioner and check travel warnings with the relevant authorities (DFAT) prior to travel. TLU is not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of travel or any costs incurred by the winner and any travel companion as a result.
3.15 Entrants acknowledge that there may be some inherent risk in connection with the Prize. Entrants acknowledge that it is their responsibility to ensure that there are sufficiently healthy and fit so as to undertake activities associated with the Prize.
3.16 To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases TLU from all claims, any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the Competition or using and/or experiencing the Prize.
3.17 Winners will be notified by the Notification Method described in the Schedule.
3.18 TLU may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of TLU.
3.19 Prizes must be claimed by the Prize Claim Date otherwise that winner will forfeit the Prize and TLU will distribute the Prize to the next best valid entry that has not already received a Prize. Where a Prize is no longer available, for example, because the date of an event has passed, the new Prize winner will receive a Prize as determined by TLU of equal or higher value.
3.20 TLU does not warrant and makes no representations that any Prize will be fit for any purpose or will be of merchantable quality. If liability under any terms implied at law cannot be excluded, the liability of TLU and its associated agencies is limited to the re-supply of the Prize or the cost of its re-supply.
3.21 If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion is affected for any reason, TLU may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, change or suspend the Competition. TLU may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the Competition or who has, in TLU’s opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of TLU or has breached these Conditions of Entry.
3.22 TLU is not a gambling service. TLU will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the Competition or using and/or experiencing the Prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
3.23 TLU accepts no responsibility for the tax implications of Prize winnings. Winners should obtain independent tax advice to determine how this may affect their circumstances.
3.24 The personal information entrants provide will be used by TLU, and may be disclosed to its agents, solely to conduct the Competition and distribute the Prize. 3.25 You agree that your personal information and user information will be collected, processed, used and shared in accordance with the Privacy Policy, these Terms, and as you otherwise consent.
