Horses To Follow - Rosehill
I’m Blake Johnston. I have spent more than 10 years working in the wagering industry, setting the prices punters bet into at bet365, Unibet and UBet — then won 2024 Tipster of the Year at The Great Tipoff, beating 1,000+ other tipsters. Now I work for the punter.
The track at Rosehill on Saturday was substandard. There was a bias toward those horses that travelled on the fence in the early stages of the race - horses were able to get off the fence in the straight, but it was nearly impossible to win if you didn’t find fence in run. The bias was made evident by the fact that 27 of the 30 horses that finished first, second, or third, found the fence in run.
We made it 9 straight winners in our BOD series with King Pedro who was a dominant winner.
After 21 days of the series, we’re currently +$443 with a 43% profit on turnover.
All of these tips are sent to our members the morning of the race - this allows them to follow along and keeps us at bay from doubters on social media.

We’re currently +269.55 units or $6,738.75 in front of the bookies in 2026.
Here are my horses to follow:
BENEVAC (Race 3) was very good effort working to sit outside the leader on an even tempo for the class. He looked like the winner at the 100m but one who found the fence and saved ground was able to grab him on the line. It was a good effort, he was only third-up and is on an upward rating spiral, looks to peak fourth-up.
BOYS NIGHT OUT (Race 7) was a sneaky run and one that you might not find going into many black books. He covered extra ground throughout the run and then didn’t have much luck in the straight, his last 200m was good work. He was fifth-up getting to 1800m for the first time, so he can be at his peak over a similar trip next time. Forgive the beaten margin.
GOD’S WINDOW (Race 8) this was the run of the day, clearly! He began ok and then was restrained until he found the fence, it took him the first 800m of the race. He had nowhere to go between the 600m and 400m, he simply had too much to do from the back with the race-shape against. He clocked the best last 800m, 600m, 400m, and 200m of the meeting and can only improve next time over a similar trip from a better draw (or race-shape).
COUPLE’S RETREAT (Race 9) was a complete forgive. She didn’t find the fence in run and then when looking for a run in the straight, she was denied. She looked to have plenty to offer and can hit back to her best next time.
SEVEN’S (Race 10) was one of the better runs of the meeting. Began ok before being restrained, he didn’t find the fence in run, was in limited room in the run home, before finding the line strongly when clear. Forget the beaten margin, he’s a horse that likes rain affected ground and if he finds it next time from a better draw, he can win again.
Have a great week,
BJ
