G1 Preview - Tattersall’s Tiara
I hope you received the email on Tuesday.
Because if you did, you’d be on Tuileries at $15 and have a bit of lead in your pencil.
Let’s face it, the Tatt’s Tiara isn’t the best Group 1 on the racing calendar.
But by geez it’s a competitive race.
It’s $5.50 the field.
Here are my selections:
TUILERIES (1st) sat wide with cover when 49-days between runs proving too strong in G3 company at Scone. Comes into the 42-days between runs with a tick-over trial, the exact same set-up as she did last start. Draws much better here and can settle handier. Gets the right run and track conditions to suit.
MANAAL (2nd) is a G1 winner so she’s in well at the weights. She usually improves second-up and you could argue that she should have won fresh against the boys. Will need a back to follow but looks the class runner of the field.
GERRINGONG (3rd) was wide without cover first-up on a testing track and kept finding the line first-up, thought it was the best run in a key lead up race. Will roll forward with Nash in the saddle and give them something to catch.
SPLASH BACK (4th) comes through the best lead up races (Kingsford-Smith Cup & Stradbroke Hcp) and wasn’t beaten far in each. She’s much better suited against her own sex and does get a kind map.
SUGGESTION: TUILERIES (Win)
Over the past month I have tipped you into Midnight Dynamite, Thebudgiesmugla, Wanaruah, and Moon Sweeper.
We’ve got 5 Pro Tips tomorrow. GET THEM HERE FREE.
Enjoy your Saturday and make sure you spend it with the boys,
BJ
