AUTUMN BOY: Never found fence in run – not given much hope first-up. Got back and hit the line strongly to clock the best last 800m of the race. Randwick Guineas with blinkers on next time. 

TONKIN: Faced the breeze on a fast tempo and ran super – finds the fence she wins. Back to 1000m no problem.

KERGUELEN: Didn’t find the fence. He was too strong late – best last 800m of the horses not on the fence in run.
