FRENCH RULER (R3) returned well from 84-days between runs. He was allowed to settle well back after beginning well before warming up late to clock the sixth-best last 200m of the meeting. Might be on a Derby campaign but could pick up a Midway or second tier stakes race against his own age along the way.

OUR GOLD HOPE (R5) is ready to peak third-up over a mile. She got back with the tempo against before warming up, she ran out of room late. If the stable can find the right race for her, she’s ready to win over a mile.

WODETON (R6) had no luck in the run covering extra ground without cover. He was working very hard but was still doing his best work through the line. Don’t drop off him, he’s your Golden Slipper horse.

SWIFTFALCON (R8) settled too far back first-up from the wide draw. Very good close to clock the third-best last 200m of the meeting. Might be a Doncaster horse.

BOLD MAC (R9) was very good from too far back first-up with the wide draw against. He ran out of room late when just warming up. Look for him second or third-up when the blinkers go back on.
