The Missile Stakes was the feature, and gee whiz, hasn’t Ninja come back well - I reckon that was a terrific win.
The market wanted to be with Angel Capital who ran well, but he doesn’t do himself any favours.
I’ll be with Ninja going forward….

Now for the horses that could put some bucks (as my five year old son calls it) into our pocket.
BANGKOK HOTTIE: Very good first-up without the best of luck. She covered extra ground without cover; she travelled into the race like the winner but just peaked on her effort late. Can strip fitter for that.
AMAZING EAGLE: Good first-up from a setback, the market loved him late. He found a good trail and hit the line strongly late, better suited over further.
CALL ME GORGEOUS: Very good late first-up with the awkward draw against. Began ok but couldn’t keep up over 1000m, he really hit the line strongly over the concluding stages. Further now.
BONIFACE: Absolute certainty beaten. Badly held-up – should have won the race. Lovely work when clear.
NINJA: Very good first-up win. Began ok before being restrained, was three wide early so made a move between the 1000m and 800m to settle second, a length from the leader. Too strong late.
MARETH: Good close first-up. Began ok before settling at the back of the field, she really hit the line strongly late. Further with a senior jockey next time
ALABAMA STATE: Wide draw against first-up. Went back to last before hitting the line strongly, just peaked on his effort late. Fitter. Does James stick next time?!
COLUMBIA BLUE: Not best luck. Began ok but was simply held-up at a key stage before easing over heels, loved the way he hit the line late. Improving type.
