Daily Free Horse Racing Tips - Black Book - Rosehill
I’m Blake Johnston, ex bookie turned punter.
I was crowned Australia’s Best Tipster in 2024 by The Great Tip Off.
On Saturday we were back at Rosehill.
And guess what?!?!
It played fence in run. Shock.
That’s been the recent pattern, and three meetings in memory, have been horribly biased.
The good thing is….
That we can find horses who weren’t advantaged by the bias.
Here’s the horses that I think could pay to follow:
PROXIMA DEA: Really good effort only having her third career start. She rolled forward on a hot tempo and really knuckled down late. Her final furlong was above the standard for the class, so we can expect her to handle a rise in trip next time. On an upward spiral.
BESIDE THE OCEAN: Began ok second-up when rising sharply in distance. She had the race-shape against but I really liked her late strength, she can settle closer next time from a better draw and should be at her peak third-up.
HARRY GOT STYLES: He wasn’t given much hope from the wide draw. Began well before being restrained, he was held-up at the 400m before finding the line strongly. Can improve sharply from a better draw.
GUEST HOUSE: Simply a very good horse (might be the best of the three year old crop). He was given a terrific ride from Zac Lloyd from the wide draw, began well before slotting in behind the hot speed to find fence in run, he sprinted well when clear. In for a big prep.
I’MINTOWIN: Had the opportunity to take advantage of the pattern of the day but didn’t staying off the fence. He was first-up for more than 600-days between runs, presented at the right time but was no match for the winner late. He can only strip fitter for that effort and can go one better next time.
Put them in your black book,
BJ
