How bloody good was the weekend of sport and racing?!

Warwoven's performance in the Golden Rose was elite, and Jimmysstar hit back to his best in the Manikato Stakes.

And go the Knights in the NRL Grand Final - nobody wants to see the latte sippers of bondi win another comp.

For those who don't know me, I'm Blake Johnston. Crowned Australia's Best Tipster by The Great Tip Off. I learned my trade working for the bookies, but now I'm a punter.

Here are my horses to follow from the meeting at Rosehill.

CROSS TASMAN — Very good second-up. Stayed at 1400m, jumped well before being restrained for cover. Hit the line strongly, equal to first with a gap back to third. A mile next time suits.

VERONA ROSE — Not given much hope second-up. Began well before being restrained to last, and hit the line strongly with the race-shape against her. Loved her late strength — she clocked the best last 800m, 600m, 400m and 200m of the entire race.

ST GOTTHARD — Very good second-up into a fast race. Began well before finding cover, got into a bumping match with Guest House, and did a good job to surge through the line. Peaks next time. The market already has him going to a big number.

WOOTTON LASS — Very good from too far back. Blew the start, sat 6 lengths off the leader at the 400m, and was closest at the line. Further, with a positive riding change, suits next time.
