Feature racing at Ipswich this weekend with the running of the Eye Liner Stakes amongst other black type racing.

We will focus our attention on the meeting at Randwick, which should be a drying Winter track with the rail out between 5 and 6 metres - it will be advantageous to settle on speed.

Last Saturday we went three from six with our Pro Tips and the prices were $8.69, $3.24, and $3. 

It was huge day for our members finishing +56.89 units in front of the bookies or +$1,422.25 for a $25 per unit punter.

🔍 BEST BET

MIDNIGHT DYNAMITE (Randwick R9) will go around at Randwick (unfortunately) but we've gotta back him. He controlled the race two back and bolted in with J-Mac in the saddle, last time he was wide and working for the first part of the race before being eased back at the 700m for cover, that's not the time you want to be easing (you need to be building into the race). He chased hard despite the tough run and meets COOL JAKEY 1.5kg better at the weights - that horse also has a sticky map. This bloke can just smoke his pipe behind the speed and pounce. The one to beat. 

💰 NEXT BEST

AMAZING EAGLE (Randwick R8) looks the weighted special of the meeting. He ran super first-up from a long spell (224 days) when he loomed to win - he just peaked on his effort late. Last start he wasn't suited staying at 1000m but he was given no hope, restrained from the wide draw and never got into it - he worked home ok with a big weight. He will settle much closer here and drops 9kg on his last start effort. This trip suits much better and he should be at his peak third-up.
